Dom Say’s Farewell to the NBL with Style

Another NBL Grand’s and another GREAT weekend of racing for The NBL’s Elite Women’s Champion.

With all the turmoil facing the NBL’s final race Dom raced the final race in the RED and White of the NBL to another perfect weekend for the Champion.

“It’s always tough when you have a big race but this being the final NBL Grand’s ever I really wanted to do well”.

Coming off a series of injuries including fractured ankle, dislocated ankle and cracked ribs Dom seemed to be flying at Derby City not losing a lap all weekend.

“I have had a lot of injuries this year but that goes with racing and you just have to get back up and give it your all”.

Watching Dom we noticed her jumping and tap manualing a lot this weekend and we asked her why the difference in style “I have been working with John Purse and I think I am becoming more comfortable in the air not to mention my new Alienation Wheels and SPEED Frame seem to make it a lot easier for me to fly”

What’s next?

“I have been training for the Pan Am Games and haven’t decided if I am going to race Chula SX or not.

I have been training a lot on the SX track and I think I’m ready but I don’t want to go until I can do my best so we will see.

But, I would like to say Thank You to my Sponsors: Grand Canyon University, THE, SPEED, Alienation, Stealth Hubs, Sinz Forks, LDC Brakes, Industrial Ride Shop, Dance Factory Racing, Johnson BMX Products and THE BIKE DOCTOR

2011 President’s Cup to be paired with the ABA Grands in Tulsa, Oklahoma

One of the most prestigious and exiting events in all of BMX is the annual State vs. State NBL President’s Cup, and one of the most frequently asked questions is, “When and where will the President’s Cup be?”. As the face of BMX racing in North America evolves and the NBL and ABA National Series are molded into one mega series under USA BMX, great events like the Presidents Cup are taking on a whole new meaning. We are pleased to announce that the 2011 USA BMX President’s Cup will be hosted on Friday, November 25, 2011 in conjunction with the 2011 ABA Grand Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

When deciding the location for this amazing event major considerations were taken into account. Paramount among them were pairing the State vs. State ABA event with the NBL State vs. State event and finding a central location to ensure participation from the entire USA BMX membership which is now evenly geographically distributed across the U.S. The ABA Grand Nationals (and future USA BMX Grands) are hosted annually, Thanksgiving weekend and features one of the most dynamic arenas at a quarter of a mile long and a BMX track that is constructed with more dirt than any other track in the World. The ABA Grands are very similar to the NBL Grands as the race takes place on both a Saturday and Sunday, preceded by a special race hosted on Friday. This ABA Friday race—The Race of Champions—is for riders who have qualified to participate by finishing in the top 10 in the ABA State Series based on age and class (i.e. top ten 10 year old expert). Last year’s Race of Champions featured participants from 45 states and the merging of the two events under USA BMX will realize participation from all 50 states, Puerto Rico and at least 2 Canadian provinces. NBL riders will qualify as they have in the past by finishing in the top 15 in their NBL State Series based on age and class.

The great tradition of the President’s Cup will continue and feature a Parade of States, with all riders from each state completing a track walk adorning their State’s flag and name, State vs. State team competition where riders from each state will challenge each other on a State Team Sheet. The bleachers will be divided by state as the state teams group together to cheer on the fellow statesmen and strategize on how to win the Cup. Additionally a very special cup will be awarded to the wining state with an additional banner acknowledging the winner of every President’s Cup since the beginning of the event in 1985. The award of the day will be fabulous cups. In addition, the champions in every class will be awarded no. 1 plates and vehicle stickers.

Anyone who attends this year’s President’s Cup/Race of Champions is sure to be impressed. Tulsa is an outstanding host city that is ideally and centrally located to the USA BMX track base and offers amazingly low hotel rates (some as low as $69 per night). The Tulsa Expo Square is the perfect indoor BMX venue, all under one expansive roof, featuring a track is legendary year after year. Additionally, the vendor and team areas will be the largest you have ever experienced. Please don’t miss this historic event!

To pre-register for this event or for hotel information please click here.

TOMS MANKUS:

Maybe you do not know his name yet but you certainly saw him riding on the track because he is such a fast rider….

He comes from the same country than the Olympic Champion Maris Stromberg and has the same dream and desire for Olympic medals…

He is the 2010 Latvian national Elite man champion and won the 4 last national rounds in Latvia this year.

Toms finished 11th at the time trial during the UCI World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark and 16th at the TT super final of this same event….This shows you how fast he is…

His trainer is Ivo Lakucs (many time European Elite Champion, who is also the coach for Maris Stromberg) and his dream is to represent his country at the highest level during the London Olympic games of 2012.

And even if he got injured at the last UCI world cup round in London with a broken wrist, Toms will try to come back at the Chula Vista UCI world cup at the end of September with his new carbon Prophecy BMX Scud ProXL….

Toms has chosen to ride Prophecy BMX to put all his chance of victory at his side and increase again his performance with high-tech and light product, so keep an eye on this super fast Latvian, who we're sure you will soon see him leading the pack….

LUKAS TAMME:

Who doesn't know Lukas Tamme? He has been riding at the highest level for a while now…and still one of the fastest riders in the elite category even after a year of bad injuries.

His target is simple: to be qualified for the Olympic game 2012 in London and to achieve his goal he selected to ride Prophecy BMX…

Lukas is the current 2011 Czech national Champion and has achieved many European Elite finals…You will see him riding his new Prophecy bike at UCI world cups, European rounds and World championship….Tamme is back!!!!!

On the side Lukas is supporting young and talented riders from the Czech Republic and Slovakia with “The Tamme Golden University of BMX Race”

So if you want to ride on a High-tech carbon frame like our riders Joey Bradford, Moana Moo-caille or even our two new team members Toms and Tamme is easy!!!!! Go to www.prophecy-bmx.com and order directly on our website and in few days you will receive at home all your order….

New Additions to the Morphine Family

Morphine Industries has continued to step up the bar to create a family of the hottest riders in the country that not only take command on the track but have a “hella” good time together on podium and off the track promoting our sponsors and BMX. We are STOKED to announce the addition of two hometown Dayton,Ohio boys, Brandon McCoy (19-27X Expert) and Jared "Doc" Johnson (15 Expert), to the Morphine Industries factory team!

Brandon McCoy “BMC" fills a hot spot on the team in the 19 -27 Expert class. “BMC” not only has some serious skills on the track but he can shred street and park like nobody's business. Brandon's skills, style and attitude make for a perfect fit with Morphine Industries. Brandon has been making a comeback after an injury and we are pleased that he is coming back hard and heavy wearing PINK, BLACK and WHITE. Hey! 19-27 Expert, you have been warned......Fly Boy McCoy is back!!!!!!

Jared “Doc” Johnson needs no introduction, especially after NBL Grands, as he has handed it to his class and been on the podium 8 times at his last 6 nationals. We thought it was time to get him covered in PINK.

Jared made his debut in PINK at the Grands last week and he made quick business of 15 Expert and slammed the door shut taking the National title and the top podium spot at the Grands. Congrats! “Doc”, you sure know how to make a grand entrance to the crew!

With the addition of Brandon and Jared, we are really looking forward to turning the crew loose as we push toward Tulsa and the 2012 season.

Morphine Crew Leaves its Mark on the Last NBL Grands and Leaves with a National title
Photos courtesy of Jerry Landrum/BMXmania.com and Richard Snipes

The last ever NBL Grands in Lousiville, KY had some epic racing as expected. Everyone wanted to leave their mark since the weekend would mark the end of the NBL. The racing was intense and the Morphine Industries squad didn't let the fans , the sponsors or the team down. The boys put a ton of hot laps down, and one national #1 title to end the weekend anf close the book on the NBL.

AA Elite Pro - Mike Kapes came to Lousiville ready to tear it up. He showed great form in the qualifying rounds with moto wins, showing that he's a threat in the AA class. Unfortunately some semi mishaps kept Money Mike out of the main event.

A Pro - Jason LaRev also showed up looking like he's been putting some work in the past few months, with strong first straights and solid laps around the track. He easily went to the semi's with a moto win and two top 3 finishes. Semi time, the pressure got to him and he ended up with a 5th.

Vet Pro - Tim Dinger made his debut coming back from a meniscus injury and orthoscopic surgery. However by the looks of his riding you would have never guess he had been injured for a few months. In typical Dinger fashion he was seen in front of the pack every lap throwing down x-ups in every possible spot he could throw one. He ended the weekend with two solid 4th place finishes in a very tough Vet Pro class.

The wild child Damian Cherepko (17 -18 Expert) showed up to the Grands with a title to defend, his smooth riding and awesome skills easily put him in the 17-18x main event. Main event time, Damian had a great start going into the first turn, there was some bows being thrown and Damian came out in the 3 spot where he stylishly crossed the white line. Rackin’ up a very solid podium finish in a super stacked class.

The newest edition the Morphine Crew, Jared 'Doc' Johnson (15 Expert), came with something to prove with a new ride and a new hype. Jared won every lap throughout the two days of racing at the NBL Grands. With the huge main event win in the stacked 15x class, he received the last ever National #1 title the NBL will give out. Congrats Jared on the amazing season. We're proud to have you on the Squad.

The Air Dog Richie Dey (12 Expert) had a phenomenal weekend, looking super strong on the track and stylish as always, he aired his way to a 2nd on 20 inch, which put him National #3, a 4th on cruiser with a National #2 plate.

Keep a look out for the Morphine Industries boys in Portage, IN next weekend and Chula Vista at the end of the month and the Disney Cup coming up in October in Orlando Fla.

We would like to give a huge thanks to our sponsors: Haro Bikes, Fly Racing, DK forks, Hawk, Black Crown plates, Tioga tires.

Without you guys we couldn't do it. We would just be a bunch of fast guys riding beach cruisers.

Joris Daudet On Pace To Perfect Season!

Bon Jour from jorisdaudet.com !

Just two weeks ago, Joris Daudet took 2nd place at the UCI BMX Supercross pre-Olympic race in LONDON.

With that finish, he remains in the lead of the UCI SX World Cup Series by 56 points.

This leaves the UCI World Champion with one race at the U.S. Olympic Training Center at Chula Vista, California in the United States to make a possible perfect season!

He's won the French National Championship, Europe Champion, UCI World Championship and ranking #1 in the world cup but nothing is complete until the race is over!

Thank you for your support and I leave you a cool video link of Joris racing for the London SX win.

Alienation BMX ENDS SUMMER WITH

SIZZLING SPONSORED TITLES AND FINISHES!

UCI BMX Supercross World Cup/Olympic Test Event – Olympic Park/London, England

Alienation BMX sponsored riders and teams had a Sizzling Finish to Summer 2011 in July and August as AN riders scooped up award and awesome race finishes at the VERY unique world class track in London that will host the 2012 Olympic BMX Event.

Alienation BMX sponsored riders blitzed the Olympic BMX Track at the UCI BMX SX World Cup in London, as they swept 5 of the 6 available podium finishes in both the Elite Women’s and the Elite Men’s class.

The trend setting track featured unique track features including the men’s Red Bull Box Jump and the never before seen, women’s Oakley Time Warp Tunnel. There were huge jumps, big turns, the patented UCI SX Start Hill and a super long track to test the skills and courage of the Elite riders who attended.

In Elite Women, Alienation riders took ALL THREE podium spots as the U.K.’s, home town heroine, Shanaze Reade rode her Deviant rim equipped GT to the top of the SX podium. Shanaze was STOKED! Joining Speedy Readey in winning Silver and Bronze were smilin’ Sarah Walker (NZ) and Australian High Performance/AN sponsored killer, Lauren Reynolds with a HUGE Third Place finish. Even more amazing than three podium spots for Alienation sponsored riders was the fact that the Elite Women’s final included four more riders, making it 7 of 8 finalists spinning to the finish line on Alienation Deviant, Runaway and Insurgent rims Magalie Pottier/French National Team rider/4th, Melinda McCleod, AUS High Performance Team/6th; Laetitia le Corguille (FRA)/7th and World Champion, Mariana Pajon from Colombia in 8th, as she suffered a serious crash on the 3rd straight which left her with a hematoma on her kidney and OUT for three weeks! In spite of Mariana’s wreck, the final was a sterling performance for Alienation…..Good job, ladies!

Elite Men’s race action saw another killer bunch of riders take to the track, Alienation mounted, ready to do battle. Elite Men’s World Champion, Joris Daudet took aim at the top spot once again after winning it all at the World Championships in Copenhagen over New Zealand’s, Marc Willers, but Marc would not be deterred in London and Joris ended up in 2nd after one of the best finals in recent memory, with lead changes back and forth between, Marc, Sam Willoughby and Joris. Joris was joined in the final by Team USA’s, Nic Long (Haro Factory) in 3rd and another AN/French Connection rider, Sylvain Andre who turned in a respectable 4th for the Olympic Pre Race. A metric ton of Alienation sponsored riders made their semi finals, in the likes of Barry Nobles (USA), Moana Moo Caille (FRA), Damien Godet (FRA), Brian Kirkham (AUS) and Josh Callan (AUS). Quarter finalist in Elite Men who were runnin’ their Alienation product were Jason Rogers (USA), Mike Day (USA/GT), Khalen Young (AUS/Haro) and Luke Madill (AUS).

The Time Trials in London saw another Podium Topping moment as Elite Men’s riders, Joris Daudet/2nd, Sylvain Andre/3rd, Moana Moo Caille/5th, Brian Kirkham/11th and Team USA’s/Dan’s Comp’s, Weston Pope/13th made the Top 16 to qualify to race in the UCI SX Time Trial Superfinal. Honors all around, quite a turnout when you consider the LOADED Elite Men’s class that made their way to London to take on the Olympic Track.

Elite Women’s Time trial competition was intense with a lot of pressure on Shanaze to win it all, as she had done in Copenhagen at the World Championships where she was crowned the first ever Elite Women’s Time Trial, World Champion, and it was difficult on that Friday as the wind was a factor and many of the girls were having trouble with the first set of doubles, Shanaze included. When the dust settled, Readey gave it a good try, turning in the 3rd fastest time with a 40.309 second run but another Alienation sponsored rider, Magalie Pottier bested Shanaze and host of other AN riders with a super fast, 40.126. Elite Women’s domination was achieved by Alienation BMX with Pottier/1st, Reynolds/2nd, Reade/3rd, Le Corguille/4th, Pajon/5th, Buchanan/6th and Crain rounding out the Top Seven! AMAZING! Giving it a great effort and making the cut of the Top 16 Time Trialers in to the Time Trial Superfinal, were McCleod/10th and Walker/15th.

London was an amazing weekend, with great racing, an awesome track and some awesome results from the fastest rims on the BMX World Stage!

Especially Rihards Veide (Elite men) impressed a lot of people with his great speed and determination, which resulted in the top spot of the Elite men class standings at the end of the weekend.

Also Kristaps Veksa (Junior men) and Frank Heijne (Elite men) showed good speed and determination in their first comeback race after serious injuries.

Vegas Baby: J&R Bicycles-Speed brings home some bling-bling at the ABA Las Vegas Nationals, July 16-17:

BMX Mania Editor's Note.......Sorry for getting this posted so late, but good news is good news and this is good BMX Racing News, so here ya go....from one of the BESTEST race teams in BMX! - Jerry Landrum/BMXmania.com

When the ABA schedule came out last year, it was great to see that Las Vegas was back on the schedule at the South Point Hotel.  With limited space in the arena, its impossible for the ABA to build a premier track, but the venue more than makes up for the track limitations.  The ABA built a respectable, short, tight track that made for 318 action-packed motos on Saturday, and just under 300 motos on Sunday.

The J&R-Speed team had another great weekend, winning both days.  The team won on Saturday with a score of 226 points and 204 points on Sunday, narrowly edging out the Bike Alley-Redline squad again.  The 226 was our 2nd highest score of the year, but Bike Alley closed the gap with some good scores for the overall title.

The 7x twins, Katin and Kyle Mitchell, made the podium in class and cruiser both days, including a win by Kyle Mitchell in 7x on Saturday.  Big brother Tristan Mitchell gets a 2nd and 8th place in 9 cruiser, and a 5th and 6th in class.  Bryce Batten doubles in 11 cruiser and earns a 2nd and 4th in 11x.  Leinani Peralta earns two 4th place finishes in the 9 girls class.  Rachel Mydock got 6th place in 14 girls on Saturday and picked up a big win on Sunday with 23 riders.  Kaden Wells has a pretty good weekend with a 3rd and 6th in 12 cruiser, and a 4th in class on Saturday.  Jessica Navarro battled hard to earn a 2nd place and 5th place in the 17-27 girls class.  Austin Fowble has some bad luck in his hometown of Las Vegas with a crash in Saturdays main and in Sundays semifinal while in qualifying position.  Meanwhile, Lauren Whisler and Ryan Pettigrew both earn another double-double to lead the team.  Ryan heads off to the Worlds in Denmark.  Hopefully this will be his year to get that #1 for team USA!  Ryan has been W2 in two previous events.

Even with all of the good news, the team has taken some bad falls recently with Levi Pope recovering from a shoulder/elbow injury and Zack Vankammen recovering from a broken collar bone suffered at the Great Salt Lake Nationals.  Jason Morris is still recovering from his broken collar bone suffered in Chula Vista back in April.  After the clavicle would not mend properly, he had to have surgery to install a plate and 7 screws.

In other news, Geoffrey Banser has joined the J&R road vending crew and will join the J&R-Speed team roster after the NBL Grands.  The J&R BMX Superstore will be vending across the country at the following events:

Factory Felt/ SC Actionsports turns on the heat at the 2011 NBL Grand National!
Incredible weekend of racing! HOT HOT HOT!

Where do you start thanking people for such an amazing year of racing. Without a doubt the best group of riders and families I have been associated with since I started managing teams nine years ago. I would arrive at the pit area at whatever national we were at and immediately felt like I was home.

Everyone was pulling in the same direction and that was forward and never looking back. I come from a background where trust and love was priority number#1 and this team showed that everywhere we went. This weekend showed just that when every rider was in the gate and all the families stood in the tower cheering for each other. It didn't matter that who you were cheering for was also your competition, the only thing that mattered was that he/she was family...Felt family.

I am so proud to have had such great riders starting with our littlest RADDEST ripper Marcus Christopher 8x/cr who had everyone just shaking their heads all season with his incredible skill set fearless approach to racing.

William Parker 10x/cr some where asking "who"? just one of the fastest 9/10 yr old in the country. William was coming back from a bad injury and 2010 which for most kids his age would have been career ending but he was determined to make his comeback and comeback he did...his winning percentage was off the charts and his soft spoken approach was deceiving. Congrats to a great year William.

Ricky Castro 10x/cr this kid sweat in red/black and white. No one wore the Felt colors with more pride than RC! He was 2,000 miles away and you could feel his presence at every race. Ricky and Gabe would put on arial shows at every track we went to. I just loved hearing the crowd ooooh and ahhh every time they were on the track. Thanks RC for allowing me to be a part of one of the most exciting times in your life and congrats on winning the NBL 10x/cr titles AGAIN!

Gabe Hatem 11x/cr "love'm or Hatem" it's Gabe Hatem! I'll steal a line from Al Roybal for this one "this kid has more skills than your momma on thanksgiving". The only word to describe him is "fearless" he never settled for anything but the win. There wasn't a move he wasn't willing to try on any part of the track against competition that was taller and stronger. What he had over all of them was heart...plain and simple. Many times throughout the season this 4 foot nothing 80lbs of nothing would step up and race three classes for the team at any given national...and for that I presented him the ironman award at the Grands.

Coleman Habib 13x/cr no one and I mean no one has more energy than Coleman...lol. Coleman, when he wasn't making my ears bleed would just go out and annihilate the competition. Coleman has been with the team now for the last three years and I've watched him improve as a rider at an alarming rate. His foot speed, power and skill set can not be matched! He brings enthusiasm, sprit and most of all confidence to the track every time he arrives. He has an unbelievable future ahead of him and hopefully he'll let us come along for the ride. Thanks for a great year of racing Coleman Habib!

Anthony Catlow 13x/cr when Anthony came to the team a year ago he was as raw a rider as anyone has ever seen. His gates were "different" for a lack of a better word (horrific). He had no manualling skills. What he did have was power, power and did I say POWER! He worked his butt off developing his skill set throughout the year. His gates got better (still ugly) but very effective....lol. He would go out in front of his home and practice manualling up and down the street for hours. He now manuals with the best of them. It was going to take everything he learned throughout the year plus heart and determination to win the NBL Grands and that's exactly what he did. Anthony put together one of the best front straights in his life and pulled off his dream win this weekend! Congrats Anthony on winning the 13x NBL Grands and taking home the title.

Victor Behm 17x/cr came to us mid season with a a bad boy rep and two tons of skill and "back straight pull". I challenged Victor to change his ways and become the man I know he could be and that he did. He dedicated himself to his craft and got stronger, leaner and meaner. He put on a skills show everywhere we went and started mentoring riders at the local CT tracks. I couldn't be prouder of him. He has a great future in the sport and is heading towards the pro ranks in the very near future.

Dylan Perez 18x/cr I'm his biggest fan! Vinny Mannino calls him Mr. Saturday Night...lol. Graduating from HS and starting college this year..where has the time gone! The corners are his home...who could forget the last corner at the Christmas Classic going old school into the corner and pushing off a rider with his foot. Technical bike handling skills forever. I can't be more proud as a Dad. Thanks for all the memories you give me...I love you son.

Vinny Mannino 19x probably the most talented BMX rider I know. Name one other racer that can compete at a national one weekend and then go out and compete at the Dew Tour the following week? Times up...none! Vinny is a super nice guy with a fantastic future ahead.

Now for the beautiful ladies of Felt...... Joey Lynn Henderson 14G, fierce is the word that come to mind when I'm talking about JL. Like a true Henderson JL is no stranger to contact on the track. She refuses to play follow the leader, she's either out in front or finding a way to get there. She came to the NBL Grands this weekend with a big smile telling me that she was "feelin' it" the only other time she said that to me was two years a go when she won the Grands. Lo and behold she goes out and kills it this weekend winning what rightfully belongs to her; the 14G national title.

Samantha Brown 15G first year on the team and SamWow did not disappoint us. Sam has some of the best skills in her class and she showed them all off this weekend in Louisville. A great teammate with a smile that can light up a room and a determination surpassed by no one. Sam has a great future ahead of her and visiting the Chula Vista training center has definitely paid off.

OK last but not least and believe me there is nothing last or least about this incredible lady Meredith Lidstone 45 woman. She's been in BMX racing for over 30 years and has forgotten more than I'll ever know about BMX and the history of BMX racing. She's outspoken and at times very controversial but she expresses it with passion for a sport that has defined her as a person. Meredith went out this weekend and tripled at the NBL Grands with wins in class, cruiser and open. I admire her commitment and dedication to the sport she goes out with as much enthusiasm today as she did as a kid over 30 years ago. It was a pleasure and an honor to be your friend and team manager.

Alaina Henderson is the 2011 NBL Elite Women's Champion! - Alaina has been with me for five years now and I've seen her grow up right before my eyes. Tenacity is probably the best word to describe her. She is tough as nails and every bit a girlie girl.

I watched her win several amateur titles throughout the years and all along I knew she was a very special athlete and a great talented rider. She turned Pro two years ago and has never looked back!

This year with all the sanction drama Alaina was able to get to the Grands as the top qualifying Elite Women in the NBL. She was on fire all weekend first in UCI Elite Women transferring to the semi and unfortunately ran into some bad luck and didn't transfer. That didn't discourage her in the least by coming back Sunday and not losing a lap the whole day and going on to win the 2011 NBL Elite Women's title! Congrats Alaina...Mady and I couldn't be prouder. - Carlos Perez/Factory Felt/ SC Actionsports

When the dust cleared the Factory Felt/ SC Actionsports team took second place at the Grands and finished second overall for the 2011 season.

Congrats to Rennen/Intense for winning the 2011 NBL National Team Championship.

How Do You Improve On Perfection? ..... Supercross BMX Releases New And Improved 2012 Envy!

For Immediate Release - Supercross BMX 2012 ENVY Press Release

It has been 3 years since we introduced the Supercross ENVY and over the years it has proven itself as one of the leaders in BMX race Frames. It is light, stiff, strong, and is available in a ton of different color and custom anodize options.

Well we here at Supercross are always looking for ways to improve on our products, when we say we want them to be the best, we mean it, we want them to be the best at all costs. So we started asking the team riders what changes they would make to the ENVY, if there was something different that could be done, what would it be. And typically we ended up with blank faces, everyone loved the ENVY as is. So we decided to dig a little deeper. And after the last year of subtle refinement, we are proud to introduce the new Supercross ENVY for 2012.

The new ENVY for 2012 has a few small refinements to help make it the best ENVY built yet. The dropouts are now smaller for less weight.

We also changed the seatstay brace from a round tube to an ovalized tube to allow for a slightly stiffer rearend while still allowing for the compliance of the rear end to allow the second pedal to come around without a dead spot. Making the frame, stiffer and faster.

And keeping in the Stiffer and Faster Theme, we ovalized the Seatmast where it meets the BB shell to allow for faster starts with the stiffer BB shell.

Now with the frame being stiffer and faster, we needed to help improve the braking to help you slow down when need be, so the cable clip retainers were adjusted on the side of the top tube to allow for cleaner routing of the brake line as it meets the brake noodle.

We know it is a small detail, but it is the small details that help make the bike faster and make you the best rider you can be.

And the last change to the ENVY for 2012 is the new Graphics.

The ENVY's come stock with the SILVER Decal set pictured on the Black frame for some colors and the GOLD Decal set pictured above on the others.

We are also offering the new decals in a few Custom colors so that you can customize your decal colors with your frame colors. This way you are assured that you can make your ENVY look like "your" ENVY.

Stock colors for the 2012 ENVY Frame's are Gloss Black, Pearl White, Blurple, Platinum Grey, Teal and Mirror Polish. And as always you can do custom anodize and custom powdercoat colors as well.

And the Aftermarket Decal Kit colors are: The Silver, Gold, Cyan Blue, Red, Dark Green and Signature Neon Green Bubba Harris style and Courtney Tomei Signature Purple.

So with all of the custom paint, anodize and sticker options we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

The team has already had a few weeks on the new ENVY's and here is what they have had to say.

....."it's hard to believe a frame as light as the ENVY can feel so stiff out of the gate, it's like no other bike I've ever ridden" - Bubba Harris, 3x ABA #1 Pro

....."Smooth, fun, and fast. Along with all the Supercross Parts, this bike should be featured in a luxury car commercial. It's the best bike I have rode " - Dani George, Junior Women and current ABA Nag Points Leader

....."The Future is here" - Nathan Padilla - 2010 UCI World Champion , 16x
