All depends on how much money you got. 350's you can find them anywhere and everywhere, so getting that won't be hard at all. Also, upgrades are endless. But if gas isn't an issue and money, find a 454 and drop it in there. Because no matter what you have, you'll always want more power. And a 454 in a c10 would be real fun! I swapped out my 262 for a 350. The power difference is incredible and like I said they're everywhere so if you want power fast go for that.

350's are everywhere and parts are cheap. The 454 will have more power but is fairly expensive to modify by small block standards. I've always been partial to small blocks myself. I don't need to compensate, I don't race, and the small block puts out all the power I need.

Depends on your goals. A Big Block is going to make the numbers at a lower RPM, and therefore more suited to a low RPM daily driver.
