Those are the stock tail lamps for the 2000-2002 model years.
The '03 and newer had the reverse lamp (shaped like a half-moon) closer to the top of the lamp
This is a 2000-2002 Neon, probably more like a '00 or '01 due to the fading paint and it looks pupleish which was only used in that time frame. As stated before, the 2003-2005's had half moon back up lens in them.
1995-1999 had totally different tail lights and deck lid and Neon logo.
Well, this Neon is definitely the 2nd generation, 2000–2001 years model.
