P.S. I'm from Mississippi, & am retaking my permit test at the end of the month.
It varies by state, roadway and environment, type of vehicle and the load it is carrying. But the range is 40-50 mph. Example. Hawaii has a minimum of 10 mph below the posted limit. FL has a minimum of 50 mph on roadways with a 70 mph limit. It remains at 40 mph for slower interstate speed limits. From Wikipedia.
The minimum speed limit question hasn't been on any test I've taken.
The MINIMUM speed limit on MOST Interstate highways is 45 MPH is MOST States. Every State has it's own speed limit laws. As Far As I Know no State has a minimum speed UNLESS it has a posted minimum speed limit.
ALWAYS READ THE LAW. http://law.justia.com/codes/mississippi/...
Hey!! Wm was right! "... minimum speed of forty miles per hour..." and is a minimum everywhere, "... Notice of said minimum speed shall be posted on such roads."
40
I have only seen signs that said 45 and I have been to many states, so that is my guess
The MINIMUM speed limit on MOST Interstate highways is 45 MPH, but I would be very surprised if that question is on the test. Just STUDY the state's student driver study guide and you should do OK.
