I purchased a motorcycle online from a known dealer out of state and paid it if full. How long should it take to get tit

Depends on states laws and dealers. You MIGHT get your states title and registration direct from the dealer IF he has a partner in your state. More than likely you'll receive a bill of sale, tax transfer statement and the former states title with your name as new owner on it and you'll need to take that to your states DMV for a title application, registration, etc- including paying tax on transaction. a few states have limited reciprocity agreements- most have the 'out of state purchase' forms to be given to other states DMV inspectors. After paperwork received- 1 hour at DMV for inspection and paperwork generation after waiting in line. Bring cash, it helps.

You should get the title with the bike so you can take both to your state's DMV and get a new title, new registration and pay your taxes and fees.

Depends on the procedure. If all it takes is a signature and stuffing it into an envelope, then it is the time it takes to send it via USPO, FEDEX, or whatever, dude.

Ask the dealer you bought it from.
