How would raising Australias legal age to drive prevent teenage car accidents?

How?

If you can provide links to websites and or blogs regarding the question, that would be great!

the thing behind age limit with driving is maturity. they think the more older you become the more mature you are thus your less of a liability on the road. the funny thing about maturity is it doesn't come with age BUT experience. a person who has gone through a lot of shet in their life will be more mature then just your average joe.

with driving i think it is mainly a fad for people to get their license as young as possible thus they are so reckless at a young age they just want to show off.

Well if the driving age is 20 then there will be no teenage accidents.

They would just have to raise the legal driving age limit to 20.

Plain and simple, young driver's between the age of 16 and 20 have more accidents and moving violations than any other age bracket. This is true worldwide.
