Yes! Ducati makes a bike with gorgeous seductive lines and style!
I look at my Suzuki and however illogical all that plastic looks....I know that Suzuki is very fond of it's water tank in terms of squeezing ever bit of aerodynamic efficiency it can into it's motorcycles.
....It still does not make the bike as good looking as the Italian art form motorcycle or as pleasing to the eye.
(nor does any other motorcycle feel like you have just thrown a leg over a wild hungry beast made for nothing other than a race track just waiting for the opportunity to turn, lash out and bite you in the waist)
Research into what buyers in this market find aesthetically pleasing and attempting to incorporate that into a functional mechanical assembly, keeping an eye on what the other guys are doing, an excellent design team, and lastly, individuals such as yourself who have an appreciation for the end product, for as it is said," Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". No question is silly if knowledge is gained.
Only people who love them are able to answer this question, yet it only depends on each guy individually. All will not have the same impression about this bike. Personally, I prefer the Harley Davidson !

Some earlier models were ugly. I have a 66 Sebring. It looks like someone hung some boxes on a frame.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; I wouldn't have a PICASO painting, if I had to keep it on my wall.
I like the fact you can get 200hp in a 350lbs of motorcycle now that is beautiful.
Because Italians are artists.
The company is building what they love to build and the stylists get to showcase their work.
