It's obviously not the most safe mode of transport as it's more affected by weather, and other drivers do not often look out for motorcycles. As Jay P said, it also depends how you ride it.

No vehicle is totally safe as Dee mentioned, so it's up to you.

Like riding a bike from NZ to Australia would be quite dangerous, and you would probably drown.

But riding a bike from France to Spain, no more dangerous than just riding around in either country.

A motorcycle itself is not dangerous. It's how you, the rider, operate the bike and how other drivers interact with you while riding.

Of course some countries have better reputations than others when it comes to local traffic flow and driver behavior.

Yes. You might get hit on some parts of the country where it is remote. Some people who hit you will just run even if you are going to die.

Yes.. kind of.. but going in a car is not 100 percent safe either
