If you got your license at 17 1/2, can you drive minors legally when you turn 18?

I live in SoCal btw. So my license is restricted because I'm underage at the moment, meaning that I have a curfew and I can't drive minors for ONE YEAR. But I'm gonna turn 18 in 6 months, so is that restriction canceled even though it hasn't been a year?

Do you still have a "Provisional" License? According to this from the CA DMV,

When you become 18 years old, the "provisional" part of your driver license ends. You may keep your provisional photo license or pay a fee for a duplicate driver license without the word "provisional."

Yes. The restriction is canceled the instant you turn 18.

" Provisional driver license restrictions during the first year....

When you turn 18 years of age, the provisional part of your license ends. "

I am concerned as to your logic. Why not go to the DMV's website and find out from authorized sources? Children of the smartphone have a slow brain development because it looks like they text about everything. Do allow your brain to evolved. STOP USING THE SMARTPHONE.

most states have a law against it bet you can find info on the DMV website
