Your tires will wear much faster than necessary and it is probably also causing some extra wear on your clutch and probably also other drive line components such as universal joints. It is not the end of the world, but in the long run it will pay to let the clutch out more gradually.

It means that you either release the clutch too quickly or press the gas pedal too hard or both.

It's not a big problem, though - a bit of concentration and you'll get it right.

You are just adding too much power too soon and the screeching indicates that the tyres are spinning, not gripping and thus will be wearing out faster than they should

Simple, less gas and more gentle on the clutch . Tires and clutch will last longer that way.

So you're spinning your tires taking off from every stop? Too much throttle.

You need to learn to let the clutch out more slowly when your in first gear, cheers.
