I have a driving test tomorrow in Houston. I have a question regarding parallel parking...?

I have a driving test tomorrow in Houston. I wanted to know whether before parallel parking I can adjust my side mirror to the lowest point to see the curb and then adjust it back after I am done with parallel parking and before leaving the spot?

Thanks.

You actually don't need to have the mirror adjusted all the way down to see the curb. Adjust it so you can see enough of the curb but still have a good view of what's behind you on that corner of the car. Then you don't have to keep moving the mirror, just leave it in that position. That's what I did when I did my road test.

Your head turns doesn't it? DO NOT use your mirrors to parallel park. Keep the car moving slowly (do not stop completely) and you should slide easily into the spot if you were trained properly.

I am a former driving instructor and NEVER had a student fail due to messing up a parallel park.

Written in your DMV training manual. As to how to parallel park. You twist your neck....and look behind you. You never rely solely on mirrors. Do it wrong and you fail.

i was wondering this too, cause thats the only way i know how to parallel park. im also from here. good luck and please update after your test!
