How can I keep my kids safe from Palm Beach pedestrian accidents?

All parents know that children are constantly in danger. Not only do they need to be protected from strangers and sharp objects, but the simple act of walking down a sidewalk can prove fatal for a child.

Pedestrian accident risk is probably my top worry for my kids. They seem to have no natural respect for traffic, and drivers seem more distracted than ever before. I just try to remind and teach my kids about traffic safety at every opportunity, and I keep a close watch on them when walking through parking lots and on sidewalks. My oldest is 10 and I think he would still walk or even run across a parking lot driving lane without really looking for traffic. So I can not honestly say that my teaching approach is really working, but you do have to keep a close watch on them.

Dont go to Palm Beach. Move to Cornwall!

Teach your kids of the "Right of Weight" -- you never have the "right-of-way."

Teach your kids are the bottom of the food chain, they have to learn everything is hazardous and they listen to you.

Or not. If you cannot control your kids they will die. Not my problem.

Make sure they're always on a bicycle.
