What is the Strider World Championship?
The Strider World Championship on Saturday, October 15th -- the first toddler world championship of any kind -- will feature 2, 3, 4 and 5-year-old racers from North America, Asia, Europe, and South America. The Strider World Championship will be held at Sarasota BMX in Sarasota, Florida on the only Strider-specific track in the country. If your child hasn't qualified, you are in luck! There is a Last Chance Qualifier on Friday, October 14th to qualify for the World Championship being held the next day.
There will be something for the whole family at the track with the Sarasota Kid Fest! Magicians, face painting, and other activities will be available all day Saturday during the Strider World Championship race.
“The Strider World Cup is the minor leagues for BMX racing, and we're thrilled to be a part of the Strider World Championship as it shines a big spotlight on our smallest racers,” says BA Anderson, CEO of USA BMX. “It is an honor for USA BMX to be the host of this historic event as we celebrate and cheer for the racing champions of tomorrow."
